3 walking minutes to U3 station Gasometer, direct connection to downtown Vienna and all major transport junctions
The student hostel Erdbergstraße 220-222 is located in the 11th district of Vienna and surrounded by educational institutions, residential buildings and office complexes that belong to the City of Vienna and in the immediate vicinity of the ensemble of the four “Gasometer” buildings which have become a Viennese landmark, housing a shopping center, restaurants, various music training facilities, an event hall and much more.
The distance to the closest subway station (U3 Gasometer) is 300 meters, and only about 800 meters separate you from the “Prater”—Vienna’s largest inner-city recreation area.
The 270 dorm places are divided into shared apartments for 2–3 persons each; the five-story student residence building also houses music practice rooms, a laundromat, an event and party room with direct garden access, a bicycle storage room and a learning room. The roof terrace, which can be accessed and used by all dorm residents, invites you to a unique view over Vienna, and the special international atmosphere of the house makes it easy for everyone to quickly get to know each other.
The local supply center Gasometer has a lot to offer: in addition to the large Entertainment Center complete with cinema there are plenty of shopping facilities, and also the Music City as well as the Bank Austria Halle, one of Vienna’s largest event halls, can be found there.
